Power of the Blood

Power of the resurrection of Jesus and the blood he shed for us.

God didn’t just died for the forgiveness of our sins but Jesus is the only person that ever existed that has defeated death for all of us.

The Bible says that Jesus came riding into Jerusalem in a donkey not in a horse like a king. He came as the king of kings in the form of a servant to serve us at the cross of Calvary.

He, signifying the new sacrificial lamb of God made human.

When Israel came out of Egypt God instructed the people to put the blood of the lamb over the door post and on the sides of the doors of their homes. He then said in Exodus 12:23 that when He comes and sees the blood of the lamb He will stand in front of your door and spread his wings over you and your family. He will forbid the angel of death from coming in.

But not just physical death but he said that he will forbid the angel that has come to destroy your home. That applies to : racism, disease, sickness, poverty, death, and yes...sexual sinful lusts.

Jesus was the sacrificial lamb of the Old Testament being made human for ourselves.

He was sacrificed as the Lamb without spot or blemish of the Old Testament.

Jesus was spotless like that lamb - He had no sin.

He gave himself voluntarily for us. There is power in the blood.

In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrew 9:22

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Ephesians 1:7

Jesus shed his blood on the cross, but not just on the cross, there were seven places where Jesus shed his blood.

Jesus shed His blood and we are redeemed by his blood.

His blood has washed our sins away. He does not have to shed his blood every year. If you accept Him, His blessing will be in your life every single day.

The first place were Jesus shed his blood was in the Garden of Gethsemane. Mathew 26:36

We lost all of our blessings when one man disobeyed God...in the garden of Eden. Genesis 3:17

Everything was given to Adam in the Garden of Eden. He had access to all of it with the exception of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

But a few thousand years ago Adam said Father...

not your will but my will be done

...and he ate of the tree. At that precise time he surrendered his will power to the devil.

To redeem our will power, Jesus prayed at the garden of Gethsemane and He said:

"O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will , but as thou wilt" Mathew 26:39

At that moment Jesus began to sweat great drops of blood. Luke 22:44. Many doctors confirm that this can happen and is possible when the tension causes the blood vessels below the skin to rupture so blood comes out of the pores with the sweat. Learn more

When Jesus said "not my will but your will be done"... He bought back our will power over sin.

Don’t addicts always swear that they will never do it again after they take a hit? But they end up doing it anyways. People always say: I am going to eat healthier! I am going to exercise! I am going to stop smoking! We tried but we did not have the will power because Adam gave his will power to the devil in the garden of Eden. But Jesus has bought that will power back for us in the Garden of Gethsemane. All you have to do is claim the blood of Jesus.

You must claim it and believe it. If you do...it shall be yours.

There are 7 different places where Jesus shed his blood. They are all extremely important. The bible says that our people were destroyed for a lack of knowledge. Not only have I broken the curse of sexual addiction but I have also broken the curse over sickness and disease. Yes...you do not have to live like this. We are talking about freedom from poverty, sickness, and addictions.

God gave us dominion, joy, and will power. He has delivered us from our sins and iniquities. He has done all this already but you need to understand it. The revelation of the blood of Jesus is the difference between freedom and continued bondage.

The 7th place where Jesus shed his blood was in His bruises

"He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

When we ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins, He does not only forgive us from our sin, but He delivers us from the curse of the sin.

He is the burden removing and yoke destroying power of God.

When He went to the cross He took our sins and our iniquities.

The word iniquity really means: the penalty ,the punishment, or curse committed.

You got to remember that the scripture says that He was bruised for our iniquities...well.. when you are bruised, you are essentially bleeding from the inside...so when He says iniquity, he does not only mean the sin, He also means that desire and force from the inside that drives you to sin.

How many times have we told ourselves...It's enough...I swear I will never look at Porn again? But you still go ahead and do it. It's that force that I am talking about. It tries to control you and force you to sin.

But before Jesus died He said "It’s finished" and after He died he went to the gates of hell and took back the keys and bruised the devil. That bruise means bleeding in the inside... The iniquity... is broken by his blood and sacrifice.

There is power in the Blood of Jesus. For that power to work in our life we must understand the revelation and believe it

Generational Curses & Curses:

God said "I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live" Deuteronomy 30:19

God said in Exodus 20:5 when he was delivering the ten commandments that he will visit the iniquity of the father upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of those that hate me.

When we sin we place a curse on ourselves but sometimes we have already landed a curse from our fathers. Why is it that a person that abuses his loved ones was most likely abused as a child. That person probably swore that he will never be like his dad but here he is...abusing his children. That also applies to alcoholism, drug addictions, racism, and yes...Porn (Sexual Sinful Lust). I will not be surprised to find out that the sexual chain of lust did not start with you in your family.

Whenever you sin against somebody and you get off the path of God, you are separating yourself from the will of God. You are putting a curse on yourself. You have opened the door for the devil to come in and do what he does best... kill, steal , and destroy.

When you steal...you are opening the door to the devil to come and steal from you. When you call your brother a fool... you open the door for the devil to come and make you look like a fool. When you attack somebody's marriage... you have opened the door for the enemy to come and destroy your marriage.

But the father has sent his son to give you life and life more abundant.. yes...

And who the son sets free is free indeed.

After Jesus gave up His Spirit at the cross He descended to the gates of hell and defeated hell and death. He has gotten the "keys" authority over hell and he has now given you the "keys" or authority and said... Now, whatever you bind in earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose in earth shall be loosed in heaven.

We have the authority to bind sexual lust and pornography(the spirit of perversion), to bind divorce, to bind sickness, to bind hatred. Every time we do this on earth God honors it in heaven. So lets bind all of these... They can not come in anymore.

Father I ask you ..bring a revelation to us and let us receive it.

We also have the authority to break any curse that we have brought upon ourselves and every generational curse that may have landed on us.

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: Galatians 3:13

That tree was the cross where Jesus was crucified. Through His sacrifice the curse is broken and reversed.

Lets pray:

Father, In the name of Jesus we come to you. We repent of our sins and accept your free gift of salvation. We declare our curses to be broken and reversed by the blood shed of your Son. Father, in Jesus name we bind pornography and the curse of pornography, we bind the curse of sinful sexual lust in our lives, the spirit of perversion. We bind it in your name and we release will power and deliverance from the desire of it. We release health and wisdom in our lives. We close every dooor in our lives that leads to destruction. We bind satan and cast him out of our lives. Lord we thank you for your love and grace. We are forever yours. Lord..it is finished.
