Facts about the Addiction


  1. Sinful Sexual Lust comes from your heart.

    "For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies." Mathew 15:19

    Every time you look upon anybody to lust on them, every time you start to imagine sinful thoughts, you are planting lust into your heart. When that lust starts to breed and multiply it will show itself and keep you in bondage to your addiction.

    The moment you decide to take that first look, to glance just once, to wonder in your thoughts, that is the moment that you loose the fight unless you repent and seek Jesus, His forgiveness, and His promises. If you however, ignore the conviction of the Holy Spirit and willingly give into that thought then it will become stronger and stronger until you can no longer resist it. God will fight your battles but you have to show up to fight but if you let the enemy in then he will kill you from inside.

  2. You should live by faith. "The righteous lives by faith" Romans 1:17

  3. It is what the Bible says, not what you think. Your theories are wrong if the Bible does not confirm them.

    Very often we try to justify what we want to believe and not follow what the Bible actually says. Do not fall for this trap.

  4. Your source of life is the Word of God. Jesus told satan when he was being tempted :

    " It is written again, Thou shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God"

  5. It doesn't matter how you feel or what the mind tells you or what your desires are. Why?

    "Because our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12

    The flesh and the devil work together to try to make you submit to it's sinful desires. If you feel like it..." who cares " do not give into the thought but do concentrate about the real fight. Remember:

    "The spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak" Mathew 26:41


  6. Without pornography I will always be anxious or have mood swings or will not be able to sleep at night or whatever it is that your body is using to make you surrender. Remember that your body itself is also addicted to the feeling. However, we serve a mighty God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, and although your feelings are real, they are nothing compared to the mighty hand of God. When God gives you freedom... He means freedom... that also includes freedom from the natural forces that kept you in bondage. You will be free indeed. No more anxiety and mood swings because of it. He will release you from yourself.

  7. When lies come your way, when mockups or diversions attack you, when weird lies are told so you can prove them wrong... do not listen, for the devil is a liar. You know the truth. Jesus said:

    "Thou shall not tempt the Lord our God" Mathew 4:7

    So do not tempt yourself because you are the temple of God.

  8. We overcome all things through prayer and fasting.

  9. Although we live in this world we are not of this world , for we are spiritual and should focus on the things of the spirit.

    " For to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace "

    Greater is he that is in us, than he that is in the world. 1John 4:4

  10. Your carnal mind is going to try to control the body but we don't live according to the body "flesh" but we live according to the Spirit.
