Myths and Lies
Lets start to confront the myths and lies of Satan:
- Porn is okay if it is only used to arouse oneself without masturbating? Wrong
Sexual Lust is sin and happens in your heart . If you didn't act or masturbate to it that doesn't make it acceptable and it is still sin. It was the sexual craving or desire that brought you to look at it.
"Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?" Proverbs 6:27-28
- Soft porn is okay? Wrong
It is still a sexual craving over what is forbidden. Clothes or revealing clothes, it is still the same monster. That also includes lingerie, swimsuits, etc.
- Porn its okay until I get married, then I will stop? Wrong
Sin is always sin and is never justified. God will take your sexual cravings away from you because they do not belong in you although you might already have them which you acquired by either being away from God or through a generational curse (explained here)
