Lust : self-indulgent sexual desire (noun) 2. have a craving, appetite, or great desire for (verb)And its co-existence with Adultery
Adultery: voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and someone other than his or her lawful spouse.The Illustrated Dictionary of the Bible defines:
Lust as: a desire for what is forbidden, an obsessive sexual craving. It explains lust as a desire for things that are contrary to the will of God.
Adultery as: willful sexual intercourse with someone other than one’s husband or wife
And the other face of adultery: Fornication
Fornication: voluntary sexual intercourse between two unmarried persons or two persons not married to each other.The Bible says: “Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is without the body; but he that commits fornication sins against his own body” 1Corinthians 6:18
Sinful Sexual Lust is the root of all Sexual Addictions. One of this addictions is the addiction to Pornography between many others.
First lets state clear what Jesus said about Lust :
“Ye heard that it was said to the ancients: Thou shalt not commit adultery. But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to Lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart” Matthew 5:28
You already should know that the seventh commandment is “You shall not commit adultery” Exodus 20:14....... but Jesus made it clear....... adultery is not just sleeping with someone other than your wife or husband but anybody that lusts after a women or men is also guilty of sin.
That is the Sinful Sexual Lust that we are going to defeat.
Why do I say Sinful Sexual Lust Instead of Sexual Lust? Are you wondering how can I righteously lust?

How does sinful sexual lust work?
When we talk about a porn addiction what we are really talking is about a person that is in bondage to sinful sexual lust and becomes enslaved by its addictive power and that power acts out through pornography to supply its need.
Folks… What we are about to battle is the desires of this sinful sexual lust which has found an open door in our heart which we have voluntarily opened and this lust has manifested and multiplied to a degree that we have become servants of it.
"Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. John 8:34
A servant is in bondage to its master. What does that have to do with me?
Because of your lust, you have now sinned and placed yourself under the authority and bondage of that sin, and that sin is now going to control your life and separate you from God. That is the purpose of Sin. To make things worse, you are living inside a carnal body that loves pleasure and the things of the world.
Brothers and Sisters... what we are about to do is declare war against your heart and mind desires... . but not only that.
We are going to declare war against Satan himself who is the Father of Sin.
First...It is important that we understand that:Pornography = Sexual Lust,
Sexual Lust = Adultery,
and Adultery = Sin.
The bible says " Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adultress will hunt for the precious life." Proverbs 6:25-26
You must know this and understand it. You are being disobedient to God and committing adultery whenever:
- A woman passes by and you take a lustful look at her or in other words when you imagine her in any sexual way.
- When you fantasize sexually about any women other than your wife.
- When you look at porn (obviously) or any type of material, movie, text or whatever that is sexual in nature and intended to create sexual arousal.
