Fell Again Why Conclusion

What Happened?

There are many reasons why we slip back into what we thought was over.

Listen, you have had this struggle for a while and this could possibly always be one of your weaknesses.
Not to worry, nobody is ever going to be perfect. Temptation will always exist. If not sexual lust then maybe, the lust for money, or something else.

Please, do not misunderstand and use this as an excuse. Just because the Bible says that we will always be sinners while on earth that doesn't give us a reason to sin. We should strive to be more and more like Christ. It is the process of sanctification that we are after. Becoming little by little better Christians that reflect the nature of Jesus.

God wants you to overcome this. We were not given the spirit of liberty to be in bondage. God wants to free us and you will be set free but do not confuse that with being sinless.

" There is none righteous, no, not just one." Romans 3:10

The more that we stray away from God, the more we get closer to sin and death and the farther away we get from God.

Our Christian life is a daily commitment. We must dedicate time to our Lord. Remember that we are living in this body made of flesh that sets itself against the will of God.

The Bible says:

"For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is in enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." Mathew 8:6-7

In other words... your flesh loves pleasure and hates God.That's ok.... we live by the spirit because now we are free from the Law of sin and death that kept us in bondage and thank God for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. The book of Romans is very important for us to understand this. I recommend you read it a few times.

So friends and brothers in Christ,

Let's prioritize or relationship with God.

He comes first before anything else. Make time for Him, set apart an area where you go to pray and worship.

Talk to Him on a daily basis. Let Him know that you truly love Him and need Him.

Be thankful for everything that He has done for us. Thank Him for your breath, for your life, for being alive, for your family, there are so many things to thank Him for, but most of all: Thank Him for his mercy and grace.

If it wasn't for his covering we would not be here. Look at what happened to Job (Book of Job) when God lifted the hedge of protection. We would all be dead to our sin, yes... Satan has a legal right to kill us and destroy our families unless it was for the covering of God and the blood shed by Jesus.

Remember.... the wages of sin is death...immediate death. Adam and Eve did not die right away when they sinned because of God's grace and mercy but they were supposed to. Can you imagine what would become of us if it weren't for the love of God?

I know you already know this but I just wanted to remind you of His love. Let's thank Him for that.

And Remember...

  • God will fight your battles but we have to remain faithful to Him and ask Him to.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12

  • Ask God for a pure heart, ask him to renew your mind, and STOP putting garbage in.

Do not pollute your heart back again with non-sense. Bring every thought into subjection and make it give glory to God.

  • Remember every time you have fallen, know yourself, avoid these things.

  • Ask God to help you hate what He hates and Love what He Loves.

  • Learn some good verses and recite them back to your body and the devil when you are tempted, hey..... it worked for Jesus so you know it will work for you.

  • Learn to follow the Holy Spirit. Follow the Spirit of God as it leads you into righteousness and not into deceit.

  • Surrender to your Lord. Let him lead you. Speak victory over yourself because you serve a mighty God. Creator of all things in heaven and in earth.

Your impossibility is a possibility to God. He is well aware of your struggle and ready to heal you but even more than healing you, He is after your heart, He is after a relationship.

Have you ever wondered what will happen if all of this struggle stopped all of the sudden.

Will you stray away from God? Will you need God any more?

If the answer to the first question is yes then you are not ready yet.

Like I said........ a Christian life does not end the moment we have victory over your flesh....... it is on-going... a daily commitment.

And most important.. if you fall, get up, repent and ask or forgiveness, and forgive yourself. Learn from it and with your chin up declare victory again until it's yours through Him.

" Though a righteous man falls seven times, he will get up, but the wicked will stumble into ruin. Proverbs 24:16

I would like to end with a prayer if you don't mind,

Lord, we come to you today with a humble heart. Lord, we recognize that it is you that gives us strength. We need you now Lord. Renew our hearts and mind. Help us hate sin and love only you. We confess that we have fallen again and repent of our sins Ohh Lord. Redeem us by the blood of Jesus. We bind this curse and bondage and release purity in our hearts. Give us victory ohh Lord. Fight for us and help us stand firm. Teach us how to live free from this and any other bondage in our lives. We want you and only you. We desire you and only you. You are our only God and we worship you. We thank you for what you are going to do with our lives in advance.

To you be the Glory forever and ever,

    in Jesus name, Amen.
